Major Events
From blooming trees to Easter eggs, a visit to DC is like nowhere else on earth. One of the biggest annual events is the National Cherry Blossom Festival. Each spring huge crowds descend on DC to see the beautiful cherry blossoms in full bloom. The annual White House Easter Egg Roll is fun for the entire family, while the annual 4th of July celebration is like none other, as fireworks light up the night sky high above the DC Mall.
Tourist Attractions

John F. Kennedy Center: Named in tribute to President John F. Kennedy himself, the Kennedy Center hosts the ballet, the opera, the National Symphony Orchestra and more. You’ll find musical and theatrical performances at the venue all throughout the year.

Professional Sports
